Miss Caitlin Curry

I am normally hesitant about painting children under the age of three, as their features change so quickly - often within months. However, Caitlin Curry was such a delightful-looking child, this quick postcard-sized sketch seemed to fit the bill as a surprise birthday gift for her father.

It helped that the family lived less than 200 yards away, and Caitlin was available for informal sittings, mood permitting!
