Alec Douglas-Home, Lord Home of Hirsel

Baron Home of Hirsel KT was a British Conservative politician, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from October 1963 to October 1964.

The sitting took place in the small sitting room of his London home. His wife made sure that a glass of lemonade was always topped up and nearby each of us. He talked about his fondness for fishing and shooting. In his latter years, he increasingly spent much of his time in Scotland with his family. Trips down to London were something of a rarity.
