Dr John K Vyden

Dr John Vyden is an Australian cardiologist now living in Beverly Hills. He was a good friend of Dr and Mrs Daniel McGann, and I was introduced to him during my first visits to Los Angeles. He liked my work and commissioned a portrait.
Dr Vyden’s social circle included a number of fellow Australians, and at a party in Santa Barbara, hosted by Clyde Packer (Kerry Packer’s brother), I made the acquaintance of Jimmy Connors. He saw some of my work and invited me to stay at his ranch to draw portraits of his children.
